With over 18 years of experience, she offers expertise in microbiology, regulated product development, and technical support for food processing environments. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and is certified in HACCP and a certified Preventative Control Qualified Individual (PCQI).
Joy Herdt
Joy Herdt is a Senior Staff Scientist at Ecolab. Joy brings over 28 years of experience in developing tailored solutions for the Food & Beverage, Institutional, and Pest Elimination markets. Her focus lies in the development and registration of antimicrobial treatments for a safer, cleaner food supply chain. Joy is a named inventor on 16 U.S. Patents and has contributed to the book “Microbial Safety of Fresh Produce”. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.
