Nalco Water Proudly Announces Calvin Emanuel, 2024 IWC Keynote Speaker

The keynote session is the conference's official opening, where we will also present our annual awards of merit.

IWC Keynote Speaker: Calvin Emanuel, Ph.D.
“Accelerating Water Stewardship for a Sustainable Future”

Calvin Emanuel is the Vice President and General Manager, Sustainable Growth Solutions, at Ecolab. Ecolab is a global leader in water and infection prevention solutions that help protect the resources vital to life. 

In this role, Calvin leads the global Sustainable Growth Solutions sector focused on the delivery of outcome-based water solutions, digital innovation and engineering services, to help customers achieve their water and climate goals and advance sustainable growth.

Previously, Calvin had roles in commercial management, sales, research and development and manufacturing at Shell Chemical and BASF. 

Calving currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chemical Educational Foundation (CEF) CEF programs help inspire students, educators, and communities to build the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics workforce of the future.

Calvin graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Wayne State University and an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
