Australia and New Zealand
Seasonal Measure for BMSB Fumigation
The Australian and New Zealand governments require that all target risk and target high-risk goods manufactured in, or shipped from, the U.S. between September 1st and April 30th be treated for BMSBs. This includes a wide range of items such as electrical machinery, machine parts, building supplies and equipment, vehicles, tools, fuels and chemicals, concrete, plastics, metals, ceramic products and books and other printed materials. For shipment to Australia or New Zealand, these items must be fumigated by a treatment provider approved by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
