Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, will be a mentor and partner for Accenture’s new program, The Circulars Accelerator.  The program will support entrepreneurs, build circular solutions and move our world closer to a more circular economy.

The six-month program will connect innovators and entrepreneurs with industry leaders and circular experts for tailored mentorship to accelerate innovations for exponential impacts. The program also unlocks opportunities for accelerator participants to work directly with cross-industry leaders to scale their circular solutions. As a mentor and partner, Ecolab will support participants through workshops, one-on-one mentoring and networking support, and commercial collaboration exploration.

Applications for the program open on Oct. 21, 2020 and close Nov. 30, 2020. The Circulars Accelerator applicants can apply to participate in three categories:

• Innovating Products & Production involves innovators focused on circular product design, material and ingredient innovation, or production solutions that minimize and ultimately eliminate waste
• Transforming Consumption involves innovators who offer new models for more circular consumption such as product-as-a-service, product-use extension, and sharing platforms.
• Recovering Value involves innovators who are enabling recovery of embedded value (e.g. energy, materials, minerals) from waste or end-of-use products, and/or are enabling reuse.

The program will culminate in an Innovation Showcase, giving recognition to the Circulars network of innovators and experts and providing an opportunity to reflect on their achievements and find opportunities to collaborate on next steps towards a more circular future.
