Ecolab’s Trimeta™ pHreedom Receives Game Changer and Sustainability Innovation Awards from the Household & Commercial Products Association
Ecolab provides several innovative solutions for the ethanol industry.
Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, has been recognized by the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) with both the Game Changer and Sustainability Innovation Awards for its Trimeta™ pHreedom solution for the fuel ethanol and food and beverage production industries.
The annual HCPA Innovation Awards recognize companies within the household and commercial products industry for their innovation and sustainability accomplishments within five product categories: ingredients, sustainability, consumer communication, technology and game changer.
“Congratulations to Ecolab for their Innovation Awards for both sustainability and game changer. It is a privilege to work with a company that is so committed to creating products that help improve lives. This is a well-deserved recognition, especially in a year that the household and commercial products industry continues to play such a critical role in the daily lives of Americans.”
Steve Caldeira
President and CEO, HCPA

Customer benefits of the solution include more efficient cleaning, improved processing capabilities, water savings through reduced rinsing, and a significant reduction in chemical use.
Nominations for the HCPA Innovation Awards were open to formulators, manufacturers, and distributors of household and commercial products. A panel of expert judges ranked the nominated products in each category to determine the winner. Innovation Award winners were recognized Dec. 7 at a virtual ceremony during XPAND2020, HCPA’s Annual Meeting.
