David Bingenheimer is Executive Vice President and General Manager, Ecolab Digital for Ecolab Inc., a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.

In this role, Bingenheimer is responsible for Ecolab Digital, the organization delivering scalable, data-driven digital solutions to Ecolab’s customers. He was the driving force behind the launch of Ecolab Digital as a commercial business in July 2024. Under his leadership, it has become a catalyst for operational efficiency, sustainability, and customer value. Bingenheimer is also responsible for the company’s global information technology strategy and operations, including digital innovation, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data platforms.

Prior to joining Ecolab in 2022, Bingenheimer served as Chief Information and Digital Officer for Honeywell Aerospace. He was previously Chief Information Officer for the flooring segment of Mohawk Industries. His career includes senior IT leadership roles at Eaton Corporation, Johnson Controls, Mercury Marine, and GE Medical Systems, where he led global technology delivery, strategic consulting, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Bingenheimer holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
