Harpreet Saluja is executive vice president, Corporate Strategy & Business Development for Ecolab Inc., a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life. In this role, Saluja is responsible for Ecolab's new business ventures and business development activities, as well as the company's merger and acquisition (M&A) initiatives.

Saluja joined Ecolab in 2024 from Eaton, a global intelligent power management company, where she was senior vice president, Corporate Development & Planning. In this role, she led the function responsible for Eaton’s corporate strategy and global M&A activity, and played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and transformation through M&A.

Saluja joined Eaton in 1998 from Tenneco Automotive, where she was focused on growth-related roles in International Business Development and Global Integration.

She holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s in law and a bachelor’s in psychology and mathematics from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India.

Saluja joined the First American Funds Board in 2023 as an independent trustee. She has served on various non-profit boards in multiple capacities that include strategic planning, community and equity committees.

Saluja is based at Ecolab’s Global Headquarters in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
